Hi folks, thought I'd post this up on here as I suspect a few of you might appreciate it.
Anyway, I purchased this set of wheels a good few years ago with the intention very much of using it as a daily. It has certainly lived up to it's role but it's taken a bit of a beating along the way. As summer approached I thought about letting it go for something newer and with less miles but, well... it's like a bit of the furniture now
.
So having made my mind up that it was staying, I decided that some serious TLC was in order and perhaps a full restoration/ modernisation to bring back the enjoyment. Since my time is split between it and my Mk6 GTI, I had the idea of incorporating some of the Mk6 styling cues into the project.
I'm pleased to say that this week the work was finally completed
I'm absolutely over the moon and have already taken it for a good spin
.
