hey guys i have a 1.4 and just really want to fill the arches a bit.was thinking 17"? i no it effects the speedo and that can you get them calibrated to the bigger wheels? cheers

out of interest what tyre size are best on 16s to keep speedo about the same.

iv gone from 13 to 15 speedo stayed the same.
Golf mk3 1.4 (sold)

just buy some 16,s and stick the lowest profile tyres you can on them.  :wink:

i have a aex and i cant lower it to much  bec the exhaust runs under the sump :-(

205/45/16 if you want the speedo to stay correct and still drive properly.

Or 195/45's, if you want 17"s you will need 205/40's but they can be tight for clearance.

Yes but you will need to lower it as well.
