Brendan Rogers - the man without any integrity.

Wishing you all the best at Liverpool FC.

Seems a contract is not worth the paper it's written on (BR only recently signed a 3 year deal with the Swans), and publicly stated that he "did not want to talk to Liverpool" a week ago.

Granted he didn't "do a Martinez" and pledge never to leave the Swans unless he was sacked, or in a coffin, but after they gave him the Swans job when he was unemployed (Swans have never poached a manager), his volte face, smacks of a man who is not as good as his word.

One ray of sunshine is that the Swans chairman will only get a new manager who plays the same way as the team, so watch out foe the appointment of some guy from Barca B team, or failing that Gus Poyet!

Lets face it.. the chairman could of easily said he is not available. He made a wise move in not talking to liverpool initially.

But lets face facts... liverpool or swansea?? well he is currently in a comfort zone i.e. nothing to lose at swansea. Atleast the man is up for a challenge

The scousers have taken a big risk appointing B Rogers , Martinez would have been better , But contract mean nothing these days if he fails just get sacked like the rest

Typical Scousers. You steal our manager and then don't want to pay for him!

Cast iron clause in BR's contract of £5M compensation, and LFC are stalling on paying up.  Trying to negotiate a lower fee.

How embarrassing for LFC.

I hope the Liverpool board remember when Wigan held a press conference to announce Martinez as their new manager, and all they got was an empty chair.  Huw Jenkins (Swans chairman) is no fool when it comes to money.

(13.55) Addendum:

Just announced they've paid up. Additional compo for the 3 staff he's taking with him.
