Motorbike exhaust on a golf
« on: 15 May 2012, 21:27 »
Ok so im looking at putting a motorbike exhaust on my car (well iv pretty much bought it)

From my memory my 16v system is 55mm in diameter, the bike exhaust is 50mm, will i really need a reducer pipe to connect these seeing as theres only 5mm difference between them, surely can make that up in weld?

Yh, but surely the bike box will be much more restrictive seems as its designed for an engine half (or less) the size of your golf

Bike can will be very restrictive and very loud also if you sleeve down you may get issues with back pressure.

It will be stupid loud as it is not really designed to work on a car.
