Cheers all. Should i bother with graphite shafts or steel ok for a starting point?

Don't bother with graphite for starters. If you get better at it then you can start investing in graphite but for the time being use steel and learn to control the ball with that.

Don't bother with graphite for starters. If you get better at it then you can start investing in graphite but for the time being use steel and learn to control the ball with that.

Makes no difference really at the start. What you need to get as a starting point are Regular shafts, these have more whip when you go through the ball. Once you have discover swing control and club head speed you will be able to adapt and move up to stiff shafts. If this makes no sense don't worry, it will eventually.
