The GT TDi interior was pretty dirty to be honest so I've decided to take all of the covers off and put them in the washing machine.

Started off with the rear pull out seat as this is smallest!

Before I washed it:

Then pulled the plastic tabs that secure the seat to the frame out:

Peeled back the seat cover and unhooked the rods that hold the cover to the foam:

Then removed the rods from the seat cover so they don't destroy the fabric in the wash:

Washed the seat cover and reversed the above steps and put it back together. It has come up like new!

You can see the comparison of the cleaned cover compared to the dirty cover. Really happy just loads more to do now!

New BBS logos on my BBS reps.

Scabby "carbon" effect logos.

Fresh red / gold centres!

My arch needs re-spraying after I lowered it too much! Hence the 4X4 Look!

Had a knock under my car, changed both my drive shafts with BRAND NEW shafts this time to ensure it didn't happen again, only to notice that my sub frame had dropped a bolt on each side.
The car has been off the road for a few days whilst I order the new bolts.

I also changed the power steering fluid yesterday so this is nice and fresh.

Whilst I was stranded at home all weekend I decided to take my passengers seat out, strip it and put the covers through the wash.

Sunday at 8am:

This photo does not really show how dirty the seat was.

2.5 hours later

8 hours later after a nice wash in the washing machine. I also used a razor to remove all bobbles, lint rolled it then vacuumed it.
Like new! Just the drivers seat to do now.

And finally fitted back in!

Yes my cd player needs putting back in properly

After the amount of hours I put in to cleaning my interior, I've ended up buying heated Recaros.
These will be getting re trimmed at some point. I think I will put these through the washing machine for now though also!

Once my US spec centre console arrives then the heating loom will be wired in!

Sorry for the bad quality iPhone pics.
