vr6 help please :(

so i parked my car up last night r reg vr6, went to go to work this morning and the f***er wont start :S
it turns over but its like the battery is dead, when i turn the key it resets clock on dash then just clicks like a machine gun.
my first thought was the battery but it still does the same thing with a booster pack on :S
any1 got any ideas?

ok i'll only have 1 shot at it lol my drives on a hill, how fast do i need to be goin?

didnt work i couldnt get it to go fast enough, forgot to mention before when i tried to start it it kept putting my windows down

how strange, electrical fault then i suppose, try checking all the earths, someone with more knowledge will be along to help you soon im guessing

Anybody near you kind enough to borrow you their diesel battery to see if it starts off that?

i dont know any1 that drives a diesel lol where would the earths be?

I had the same problem (without the window bit though)...would be fine for ages and then would be completely dead one day...
New battery solved mine...does it start on jump leads? (mine always did)

I dont know if its them all but theres 4 on 1 bracket attached to the back of the block (behind cyl 5)

I think the manifold may be in the way, i cant remember i have a stripped engine with no pistons in at the mo

thanks i'll check them out tommorrow, i haventtried jump leads yet but had a booster pack on it and got nothing lol
