number plate backings

Anyone fitted the GolfGTI.co.UK number plate backings to their mk6 yet?
If so how's the fit?

I'd also like to know this, just got some pressed plates in the GB and was considering a set, i'm not sure if it's a bit overkill though as i've already got the stickers in my side windows?

Sorry Geoff I find that hard to believe. I've never seen a mk6 with the front mounting plate. They aren't colour coded just dark gray.

So your front plate is just screwed to the bumper?

I'll check the part number and price when I get home.

If you meen the frames linked too. No mine does not have any. My rear number plate is screwed directly to the blue painted bit of the bumper with no dealer surround frame.
Every other golf I've seen has had these dealer framed plates on the rear.

Mkviken has an abt full frame on his rear plate but it won't fit on the front one.

So I wondered if the golfgti.co.UK ones fitted on the front or like the abt

Sorry I noticed a mk6 coming home tonight and that was screwed to the bumper, the front bumper was shaped for the plate. Its strange the your GTI doesn't have one.
