Complet engine rebuild

Hi guys not sure where to start really i have email sevrall companys and rung them asking the best way to go but have got nowhere :cry:  the dolla is there but mayb they are just to busy i mean just a curtasy email or call just saying that so if anyone has any ideas on companys to contact would be greatfull im from outskirts of london

What engine are you wanting rebuilt?
Also, where are you willing to travel to? That may help others point you in the right direction...

Hi there i have a 1.8t AUM mk4 i have uprated the turbo to k04 large front mount intercooler dumpvalve induction kit well iv gone to peterborough who done my miltek i also have it d-cated but want the whole lot done be great if you can recomend some people

A good tuning company will sort you out.£££££ Ask cosworth.  :evil:
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

You couldn't perhaps be a bit more specific could you?
Do you want rods changed? Pistons changed? If so standard parts? Forged? Standard bore and stroke? Bored and stroked? Standard crank? Standard knife edged and rebalanced? From another VAG i.e. tfsi crank? And before you get to that would you be looking to remove the engine yourself and strip it down ready to be sent off? Or are you expecting to drive the car in give them the keys and return to a completely finished car? All information that's deemed appropriate as some machining shops will only work on a stripped down engine.
