So when a car has cruse control, xenons, wheels or leather fitted by the DEALERS and not at the factory is that classed as a mod? As a lot of options can be fitted at the dealers

That is another grey area, I would sooner tell them everything myself.

Just got off phone with brentcare who have got it down to £1300 so it's getting better lol  :lipsrsealed:

Type it into money supermarket with mods and got it to £1042 but just double checking with the insurance company  :grin:

Getting it cheaper. If ican get it for a grand or just over then I'll keep it  :cool: otherwise bye bye  :cry:


Got it for £1100 now which I know is still a lot of money but being young isn't always good  :wink: same as being old isnt always a good thing  :grin: :lipsrsealed: :wink:

So operation get this ready for inters is back on but running out of time  :lipsrsealed:

Monthly wages go down considerably when the insurance comes out  :grin:

It doesn't matter what car, what engine, what year, they will look at our age and rape us  :grin: simple as.
Which is a shame as I know a lot of older drivers out there who look a lot more dangerous then younger drivers  :lipsrsealed:

If you can get the quote online then just take it out online. If you've declared it then it's declared. I had a similar situation with a car whereby the online quote was £800 cheaper than the 'over the phone' offer. I outlined this to the woman and her response was just to buy it online as she couldn't match it on the phone for some reason.
