I dont advise it but how can they actually tell its mapped  :lipsrsealed:
An insurance inspector will be able to tell if it is checked for after an accident.

Sometimes being old is good - cheap insurance :laugh:

They'd still have a job to prove it really, they'd need all the kit and would have to test the capabilities of the map.

Have you tried hic?were cheapest for me £100 less than others were for standard and all mods declared :undecided:
1.8T AGU 203bhp & 233lb/ft Rtech stage 1 custom remap,18"dezentz rims,lowered 40mm shocks n springs,whiteline 24mm adj rear arb,lcr axle bushes,polybushed arb,modified front bumper & valences,depo projector headlights,delocked,wrapped interior&bora gear knob,forge boost & coolant hoses,forge tip,forge 007p,samco vac hoses,simota aeroform cai,saiko michi catch can,deleted pcv system,r32 dogbone,miltek lg bore down pipe & sports cat/non res anni style system.

 i drive a golf thats why im skint!!!!


losing interest in the golf and now not so skint !!!!!

Not really they all have the kit needed and you can tell when it was flashed easily, Someone on here crashed a 1.8T with no map declared and was lucky to get away with it, however its not somthing i would take a risk on.  :smiley:
