mfa wiper stalk

Hi guys, just wondering as i just bought my mk2 gti, its got a mfa wiper stalk with a wire dangling about, and on the clocks its got all the jargin for the mfa information, but the button doesnt work as the wire isn't plugged in, had the clocks out to see if it goes on the back and cant find anywhere for it to go, so just wondering where does this plug plug into please if anyone can help at all, its a G-reg 1.8 8v gti

Take the plastic cover off from around the ignition, it plugs into either the stalk itself or another plastic connector depending on which MBA stalk it is

ah right, will take the cowling off tomorrow then as from what i can see, the wire comes from the stalk itself?

The white connector plugs in to another connector, that will hopefully solve your problem pal, welcome along by the way

Alot of really knowledgeable guys on here who will always help you along, good luck with new Vw, I've been back in my mk2 for just over 2 years, couldnt live without it, cant wait to get it in the garage when the extensions done

Sorted I think, had a different wire plugged into the plug so unplugged that put the stalk wire in and it works woohoo lol

Top job pal, glad it works, I bought 4 different stalks before I fixed mine, good luck as you go....
