Golf R headlamps

Where can I get these at a reasonable price? They are for a friend with a MKVI GTi

German eBay have a few sets. Still very expensive though!  :rolleyes:

Be aware there are two different style "inners" to the R's  OEM headlights, depending on what size wheel you opt for.

The standard 18" wheels come with silver inserts inside

Opt for the 19" wheels and you get black inserts inside

Crazy I know ... but it's true  :grin:

SILVER (I realise the pic is a GTi but an R with standard wheels has exactly the same inners to this)

Learn something new everyday!! Always thought the silver inners on the R were the older version then they changed to black. Same way as the GTI comes with LED reggy plate lights as standard.

God a I want an R so much :-( too scared to go to my VW man to price one as I know it will be mucho £££'s

For those that dont know DSG is an electronically controlled dual-clutch multiple-shaft manual gearbox

Buy a Golf R, they come as standard on that  :smiley:
