mk3 gti arch trim on mk3 cabrio?

hey guys, wanted to fit the trim like on my gti mk3 wheel arches onto my mk3 cabrio so bought some on ebay. you know, the black plastic trim above the wheel arches. what do i need to fit them? any links on how to do it or any pics anyone has would be much apreciated!!! cheers!!

They rivet on from underneath the lip, dead easy to do, you will need to replace the side trim as well so that it matches.

thanks for the reply! when you say i need to change the trim so that it matches, do you meen in colour or in the fitment or somethin? do you have a link to these rivets?

Nope the GTI spec trim is bigger whilst base spec / non GTI is narrower, for it to match the arches you will need the door and rear wing trims.

Rivets are available from VW

another question then, can i just buy standard golf gti 3 door side trims and they will fit on the cabrio?

Yes they should fit straight on.
