what conversion??

I got a mk3 gti 8v but want something faster what engines will go in mine without major work..i been thinkin vr6 but havent found a vr engine ...is there any others that go in?

do a search !! 1.8t seams to be the most common motor thats used

If you want a VR6 then just buy a complete car.  If you want more eg. 1.8T then get saving as it's not a cheap conversion to do properly.

tbh im tempted i dont want something uber fast cos there is no point im happy with vr6 power... but i like the spec of my golf with the heated seats! ... but im very tempted by a mgzs 180 2.5 v6... thinkin time i reckon!

not on the kv6...the HG are fine its on the other k series engines there sh!t...i owned a zr for 4 years and didnt hear horror stories about the kv6...

Kv6 Is just BASICLY two K-series engines bolted together lol.... Head gaskets just as bad as all the other MG/Rover/Landrover K series engines ever made. I wouldnt touch one ever with a very long sh!tty stick

If you look in the dictionary under head gasket problems there will be a picture of a kv6 engine, great concept executed on a budget of about 40p.
