Well in the end it was a entertaining game, I've never really thort much at all of Carrol other than being over priced, but I must say he proved me wrong on this occasion and it was an inspired sub by Mr Kenney....the goal changed everything and thort Liverpool were unlucky not to have at least took it to extra time.

And with regards to the was it a goal or not...No it wasn't it clearly didn't cross the line and you didn't need goal line tech to tell that on...but in general I think the FA shud introduce it to the game....other sports have it so why oh why is it different for football...Or maybe it's mr old fart himself(Blatter) that doesn't want to get with the times...

Hated watching that on ITV, it felt more like liverpool tv.

What an amazing save that was from Petr......and the whole of the ball line wasn't over the line so there is no debate there.

Agree that there should be goal line technology though.

pretty poor show from liverpool... i didnt even watch the first 60mins just because of how bad they were playing. AC made all the difference. Finally  a good performance for him, and trust me I have seen every one of his this season and he looked like a different player.

Chavski played the better over the whole match so deserved to win. Its just sad that we didnt show up until so late on. I expect the chavs luck to run out real soo though... COME ON BAYERN!!!

remember when the whole build up started at 12 and you saw the fans going to wembley and each teams route to the final? and it was THE final game of the season.
it was always sunny when the teams walked out.
i really believe the FA have denegrated the FA cup to little more than another match, when it is the greatest and oldest knockout competition in the world FFS!
only the final should be played at wembley the money grabbing w4nkers

Have to agree with the above...  eveb fergie was pretty pi$$ed about this (strange as I remember them being knocked out quite early on  )


... but yes. Its always been the last domestic game of the year and should stay that way.

Agree 100%.  Takes the prestige away from the tournament. FA got it wrong yet again.
