ok dicided to put the spoiler back on now as it will work better with the vr6 splitter and the colour scheme at the moment.
also joeyed my headlights by taking the glass out painting the lenses inside black apart from the light beam part of the lens and put them back together.

after looking around my car the only thing that was letting it down was all the stone chips in the grill. the rest of the paint is spot on so i deceded to respray the grill.

so i took it off the car. took it apart and resprayed it including colour coding the VW badge.
sanded it all down nice and smooth. and as the grill already has paint on it there is no need to primer it. i did have to use plastic primer on the badge though.

then painted all the bits and clear coated them.

after letting it all dry i then put the grill back together.

then put it back on the car and now all the paint is sweet.

ok as the exhaust was shot. both boxes middle and backbox had totaly gone baffles. i managed to get my hands on a decent standered gti exhaust (cheers for that bigun ) and have scrapped my old one and fitted the good one from cat back. also got a couple of chrome tips as its a strait tipped backbox not a downswept one. just till i get a nice stainless one.
didnt take any bits as i just swapped 2 standered exhausts over. nothing to get exited about with pics
