ok here i go again. as most of you no i have decided i cant live without a mk3 golf so i went on the hunt for a new one.
just bought an M reg mk3 golf gti 8v. dragon green.
114k on the clock
full service history up to now.
5 months mot and no tax
the visible paint on the car is mint.
it also has a clifford cencept 500x alarm system with certificate.
kenwood flip round head unit and a 10 disc multi changer in the boot.
not to sure on the wheels but they will do till i get some decent deep dish rims. they are kind of a nice colour but still sh!t

i payed £450 for it and i think i got myself a bargain.

today i decided to take the side skirts off and wheel arch trim to see what the rust situation is. this is what i found.
its not to bad really and most of the sill is in good nick so will be rust treating this and getting it ready to be welded when i get a day without rain.

i also decided wile i was at my garage to loose the horrible wing mounted aerial.
so i pulled the aerial inside the wing and cable tied it to the top of the inner wing and it still works great.

i then filled the hole with the vw aerial hole bank grommet. fitted perfectly.

not really keen on these wheels but they are mint apart from no centre caps.

started fitting coilys to car today. did 3 of them then on the last one when removing the standard shock i snapped the bloody bolt at bottom of shock so i will now have to get it out somehow and fit the last coily
