not driven a 35 but on the GTI a remap is a must IMO
Really wakes the car up, sounds better, MPG not affected and just makes the car much more fun to drive
i would 100% recommend bluefin as you can remove it as and when you want, its smooth power like OEM (though revo gives bigger numbers i prefer the OEM drivability and smoothness bluefin gives), if you buy another car bluefin compatible you can reuse the handset on the new car for a small fee, the handset can be used to fully immobilise the car (if you go on holiday and are worried about it getting stolen etc) and it leaves no flash count on the ECU if you auto scan and erase the error codes.
i tried my car back on stock map and i was amazed how slow it felt!
for £400 its a bargain IMO.
on the ed 35 the gains would be even better with the larger turbo
