I went there for work, had to build an outdoor gym in a park.
I went with 2 other people, it was a 280 mile drive and all 3 of us went in an old transit, we got there for 09:00 Monday morning and came back Saturday night at 20:00, we worked 16 hours per day, we loaded the van Sunday afternoon with more stuff, Monday morning the other 2 went back but I didn't as by boss needed me to do another job, I finished at 19:00, went picked up a few bits that hadn't been loaded on the van, went home showered, got my bag of clothes, had dinner then went and filled up with petrol and left at 22:00, did the 280 miles non stop in three and a half hours, got in bed by 02:00 and up again for 06:00 worked till 20:00 then went to bed, next day got up at 07:00 and started work, at 11:00 I then suggested we take the rest of the day off and climb a hill, as we had worked or bollocks off the week before, doubled the amount of hours we normally did per week and only got £30 extra for it, it was not my best idea, we were all shattered but said we're here so might as well, we all showered and had a little rest and set off at about 15:00, first bit was fun, but by half way we felt like giving up, for some reason I had to carry the rucksack full of beer, even though I don't drink, which made it even harder, it absolutely killed us doing it, but we were glad to get to the top, but some of the views are amazing. I would highly recommend going up one.
