New to smart phones- Please help!
« on: 30 April 2012, 21:12 »
Hi, im torn between three mobile phones, i have never had a smart phone, always been happy with my basic £60 touch screen, but its time to upgrade!

First, if any one has anything to say about these.. please do because these are the ones in my price range with the tarriff i want

Motorola Razr
Samsung Galaxy S2
Sony Xperia S

They are all android, and all pretty much the same in features,  this is my main question,  the Motorola does a really cool effect when you lock it,  as they are all android, is this something i can set on any other android or do individual manufacturers build in different things?  I was hoping they would all do the same thing as they are all android (like windows 7 does the same thing on any laptop for eg..)  Is that the case?

TBH the Samsung seems to be the most plain and boring on screen, the others seemed a lot more animated,  or can i change the settings?

You can modify loads on the S2  the S2 is the superior to both those phones.

HTC One X  [/thread]

The Razr is cool, but as with the other phones outdated now and you can get better phones on the same contracts. Use a money comparison site to find good deals, then go into the stores with these printed out and get yourself a better dealio

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
