if your gettin big bumpers then just get any set of 16's follow by lowering of 60mm

if your keeping small bumpers then 13's or 14's lowered as low as it will go, 100mm probs

personal opinion........

what 'slick' posted... bbs 'rm's are the nads, on most things vw, ive seen em from polo's to jettas and always look sweet, but they hold there money so well if your on a budget try something different, as i said the above are my faves, but never had enough spare dosh to warrent putting em on any of my mk2's (just for wifey to kerb em whilst trying to park and tell the 3 kids to shut up at the same time...) so im sure if you have a look in the 'gallery' section there will be a wide choice of wheels to look at, find some you fancey and pm/ the gallery host and ask what they have, theres that many out there......

If you are really cunning you can jump into a bid on ebay at the last minute, just watch it till the last day and grab a bargain from under someones nose.

The ones above were £360 and have never ever been fitted. Getting some nice toyo proxies R1s for £47 a tyre and then just gotta sort the mounting out.

Bargain basement and still not reached the price they should of sold for.
