Golf SE Specs

Hi i have searched on the net but couldnt find any results, i have an 1995 'N' golf, 3 door, with the GTI bumpers etc, im not sure whether it is carboretter, what valve it is, BHP etc any more information would be much appreicated.

To find the BHP you will need to supply the engine size of the car.

I would suggest that it is an 8 valve, and is injection as i dont think any mk3's where made with carbs

It'll be the 90bhp injection - as per 1.8 GL & Driver, basically a downtuned mk 2 GTi 1781cc engine.

Cool cheers for that, it is a 1.8. What are the standard speaker size of the MK3 golfs, and are the grills on the dash tweeters or speakers? Cheers Dez

tweeters - i think i read on another post were difficult as they are shaped fit but new ones can be made to fit,
door speakers are 16.5 cm but watch the depth as otherwise they can hit the window.
