I'm going to get the exhaust right and just enjoy it for the summer then maybe try some coilovers.

I have tried that but they still knock a little when the back is loaded up, i think i'm just going to have to get the ride height down then have a look at the exhaust and see what gives.

Hydraulic hose clamps. They come in a wide range of sizes, are rust resistant, low profile and cheap. Works a treat on my XT600.

Did up tight enough to close a fairly big gap between the downpipes and silencer on my XT600. I changed the link in my previous post for a better site and that says the bolt is high tensile zinc plated.
