thinking about chopping in the mk4 for an estate car, any suggestions? NOT a mk4 estate :grin: around the 4k mark would be nice

Bmw 3 series, friend of mine at work just changed from an A6 avant to a very nice 320d estate and it looks and drives very nice indeed.

have to say i am very tempted by a e46 320d. Seem very reliable except for wishbone bushes which is negligible coming from a mk4!

that skoda is quite cheap though for a newish car!

My Octavia is just like that one ^.
It's a very good car, Golf chassis, VW engines and build quality. The estate has more luggage space and rear legroom than a Audi A4 Avant.
Mine was £5600 for an 07 plate with 40k with the 1.6 FSI engine (cheap tax and very economical). Spec level is good too.
I might have to sell mine in order to get an automatic (if the wife passes her test in an auto).

Can definitely recommend the Octavia.
