Exhaust question
« on: 27 April 2012, 22:31 »
Hi guys,

Im in a GT FSI, and someones knocked my rear end whilst i was parked. Its scuffed and ruined a spot of the paint. It will probably need a respray, so Im tempted to replace it with either the GTI or newer GT rear, exposing the twin pipes.

As mine are currently the curled down hidden type, whats involved in changing the ends to the stick out type? Not looking for any noise or performance changes.

Sorry for the lack of terminology, but I really don't know what i'm talking about or what to search for! Thanks for any advice!

If the worst comes to the worst, could you not hack the downturned section off and fit some of the Yeti chrome sport tailpipes? I remember someone did that to a car on here but I can't remember what one or who.  :undecided:
