passat alarm problem

ok so as above realy loads of times  today the alarm has been going off randomly, proper anoying after a quick look realised when unlocking the car with fob indycators flash when locking they dont guessing this is some sort of micro switch fault ???
any one got any ideas ?? am wanting to smash it now might just disconnect battery for tonight

I had to replace the bonnet microswitch on mine a couple of years ago.

what the easyest way to find out which one it is any ideas?? am thinking its the bonnet one as had a small tap on the frund a while ago stupid woman drivers

The way I figured it out was looking in the window when the alarm was going off - the bonnet symbol on the car outline in the dash was flickering.  :grin:
