Evening all,

Last night I got into my car after work and reversed out of my space and water started coming out of my sunvisor. On closer inspection it looked wet around the sunvisor light and slightly down the a-pillar. There also appeared to be a small trickle near the bonnet release. I drove home and it all dried up.

It chucked it down all night, yet it was dry this morning, I thought this may be to do with my space at work being slightly downhill and flat at home. I drove to university and where I park is also downhill but steeper and sure enough I've just finished and water had got in, only this time the sunvisors didn't have much at all but the a pillar was wet all the way down and there was a small puddle in my footwell :(

Anyone any ideas? I've done some searching and some have mentioned the sunroof drains get blocked and this causes it and there is a valve down near the door to squeeze or something?

Can any one else shed some light or had the same problem?

Cheers

Scott

That's one of the threads I'd stumbled upon whilst searching, thanks, very useful. (this forum seems the most useful out of them all!)

I'm parked up a good walk from my gf's student flat but I'll have a walk back after tea and try find these nipples. Are they easy enough to spot where looking at the front door hinges?

Did your water leak stop after you'd squeezed the rubbish out?

Thanks

Scott

i put some tube down the sunroof drains till it poked out the rubber nipples inside the door which pushed the gunk out then snipped the ends off the nipples to allow easier flow

Cheers mate, you're a star. Just been out there and loads of crap squeezed out followed by lots of clean water! I'll cut the valve flap back abit at the weekend like you say and poke down them!
