Tyre Poke an MOT failure?

I have my MOT this month, and have 'slight' tyre protrude from the rear. How anal are they about this?

Its only about 8mm or so but ive included pics.

Yeah 20mm on the back. Can take them off, was just wondering if I could get away with it as its only a small amount, but some mot testers are anal about things like this..

i would just whip them off save any trouble with mot  :smiley:

as long as tread is covered then its a pass, but some can be arses and sy its a dangerous modification. for the sake of whipping a spacer off then id do it, saves the hassle of a re test

my front wheels stick out a fair bit to clear my brakes, the mot bloke said it was fine, because they're not in contact/rubbing :grin:
