lowering advice needed

ok peeps i am planning on lowering my new mk3 gti. i have always used coilovers but this time im thinking of using lowering springs so the ride isnt so bad.
i still want to go pretty low but still be able to go over ramps just.
the car is standered at the mo with 15" rims on it. how low is the lowest i can go on springs and still be usable?

Without coilovers you wont be able to drop mega low - The last time i looked springs only wend down 60mm IFAIK

Or an easy way - go around the bumps

anybody got any pics of mk3 dropped 60mm on 15s?
will probly end up with coilys. but fanceyed a change if the ride is abit softer

I'll put money on it that you wont be happy with the way it sits and will want to go lower!

Just better off getting coilovers.

yeah think your right mate just looked up on google images and it isnt low enough. coilys it is then.
i cant wait to pick up my new car later and start the new build
