Delivery status codes?

Just phone up my dealers for an update on my delivery and he said it is showing as “status 10”.

Does anyone know based on that code, how long I will have to wait?

Don't know mate, might have been idea to ask that when you spoke to your advisor at Dealership? google had this info:

Status P – Awaiting allocation
Status V – Allocation assigned
Status 00 – Assigned to factory no production week scheduled
Status 10 – Factory ordered with production week
Status 20 – Factory ordered with confirmed build week

Don't bother with your dealer mate, get your commission number and phone vw customer services....they will give you more info and it's better to pester them LOL

You can get your comm number from your dealer, just say you wonna bother cust serv rather than bother them.
VW cust serv no. 0800 0833 920 once you have your comm number they can help...

Just phoned customer services, they have confirmed build week 21, then 2-3 weeks from then to get it to the dealers.

That seems quite a long time, as I ordered the car on 24/01/12   

Oh well, at least I have a date now

So yours shud be built the week commencing the 21st may which means its just over 4wks till your build date...and then say another 3wks cus of sitting at port of exit(Emden) waiting for a ship and then travel time while'st at sea and then of course it sitting in the uk docks waiting for the transporter to arrive and take it to its final destination(your dealers)

The good thing tho now you have contact with cust serv is they seem to give more info and from my experience when ever they quoted time scales they were always right...

So taking that all into account your new ride shud be at the dealers around June 11th and as long as those time frame are correct then I wud say you cud be picking her up on the 15th or 16th or of course if your lucky sooner...

I was build week 21 and have just confirmed that my car has arrived at the dealers (even popped in at took some photos  )

PDI will be done by Monday and pickup next Wed
