oh yeah, also for the rest of us:

EDIT: You better login NOW and claim the 25Gb storage if you have a MSN/Hotmail/Live account, otherwise they're dropping it to 7Gb!

See this a while ago... Its been on the droid market for a while, not yet used it.

Use to use windows skydrive... well it use to be FolderShare, blinding app for syncing on a home network as it mapped  the network properly and had 256bit encryption and worked well online, MS then bought it and made it mesh which was ok, now mesh is ditched and replaced with skydrive, that is terrible. I've used it all along through out its life for small projects between friends and my nephew and now its skydrive the way it syncs is terrible, we've ended up with missing data and lost files on several occassions... GO MS!

Dropbox works really well and similar to how foldershare use to work.

Will have to give google drive a go.

Microsoft one seems quite good, 25GB is generous too.  Turns out I already have an account full of photos, I don't remember that, just upgraded to 25GB

Sadly it won't let me install the Mac app as I don't have OSX 10.8 onwards

The Skydrive desktop app works exactly like DropBox, I've got it installed on my Work Win7 machine and my Win8 machine at home (yes I installed the desktop app, yes I know there is a Metro App already 'baked' into Win8. I just wanted both ;) )  - only it has 25Gb if you go upgrade before they cut off the 25Gb and downgrade you to 7Gb

thats as maybe... but its 5GB you didn't have before!!!

I'm very much liking the way the Google Drive has interfaced seemlessly into my mac finder... much easier, its just like having another folder.. happy days

I'd have to disagree with you Jay, there's endless threads of people moaning about skydrive especially when some of the initial useful functions where removed.

On my home network I will have two machines on skydrive, rather than using the network to sync the files especially when on a wired network you have good speed for files it will be adament to download the files to the second computer via the internet and not the homework, whereas drop box utilizes the network from my experience.

When it was foldershare it wad brilliant at doing all the jobs, now it wastes bandwidth.

Also the way it maps files for syncing is terrible, doesn't take into account opened files on its native os sometimes the map gets confused and you end up with duplicates or missing files... also why drop 256bit encryption.

So many good features dropped once ms took over, also the fact that xp is dropped so early which was a hard blow.

Dropbox etc don't scrutinize you for your os. For individual use for just backing up skydrives ok but for projects and multiple client use I'd say its terrible.

Also quit your moaning I used your dropbox referell
