Cheers for the advise going to try the wire wool or wet and dry as need to even out the colour before treating it with anything. Pretty happy with the autoglym bumper care if I can get it all one uniform colour.

I used this on g/f Mk 3.  T'was the only stuff that would bring back a nice deep black lustre (from a virtual grey!)

Right have had a go at it with some fine wire wool grade 00 and then Autoglym bumpercare and it has come up pretty good. Still a bit streaky so not 100% happy but will have another go another day maybe with some wet and dry. Here are the photos.
