Right this is what you do mate, go threw the insurance, as by the sounds of things she isnt insured!! and she is fogging you off and keeping you on hold, which is a problem because if you leave it to long your insurance company might get funny with you, they also dont like it if you try and sort things out behind there back, so to speak.
You'll have to pay your access, but take a claim out at the small claims court and sue her for the £350 that you have lost because of this, it will cost you £80 but you'll get that back when you win, which iam sure you'll will, just speak to C. advice they'll advice you for free.
Police dont really care about "prangs" specially if your in a car park or a private road, although its always good just to report it anyway even if they aint interested.
Please dont let her get away with this, dont go asking her for money any more, do it the LEGAL way mate!!! this is why you pay insurance!!
