Forge actuator awful fitment
« on: 20 April 2012, 19:42 »
Fitted my forge actuator to fitment's awful, top bolt fitted in middle hole on actuator nowhere near hole on turbo and bottom hole bracket sits about 5mm too high. Had to drill new hole in bracket and space bottom hole with washers. On performace before peaked at 19psi and held at 15, now peaks 21 and holds at 18psi and can feel difference. easy job hardest thing messing with bloody actuator to fit, took 3hrs. At one point thought old actuator was going to be refitted.

yup I got lucky as did Hulmie but quite a few people have had to get replacement brackets from Forge, it's not their fault as Borg Warner kept changing the thread locations depending on year/model

Forge have about 3 or 4 different brackets for the k03's.

Should have rang them and explained and they would have sent out the others for you to fit.  I cant see them taking back a mullered bracket tbh.

Not mullered perfect size hole drilled, fitted now wouldn't take it off again anyway. Why 3 different brackets turbo not changed?
