Just got me an Ipad3 64gb

I've got a Snugg cover on my ipad2 and it has been dropped down the stairs twice with no damage and the case allows charging, pic taking etc.  looks a cracker too.

Had mine for around a month now and well happy with it! Pukka for films and games when u get bored lol.
Handbrake is a nifty must have!
Also as others have said get I player 4od etc.
Also get a good leather case, dropped mine a few times and the case I've got has protected it nicely

That's true, and why I never bothered buying the 4/3G 1 as we will never have it

Indeed from what I have just read you are correct, looks like they will need to come up with a multi frequency ipad4 if it is ever to be ok on 4g anywhere outside America & Canada

Apple are going to get spanked in Europe because of their false advertising in regards to the 4G on the ipad 3, on another note Vodafone and O2 are brewing up a plan (in the form of a new company) to make 2G, 3G and 4G more widely available across the UK by pooling their resources.

How does Handbrake software work. i.e. if I download load the software on my desktop pc how do I then get the film on to the ipad?

Handbrake is used for converting films, so you convert your films to mp4 then drop them into itunes & sync
