Does anyone know how much roughly you would get for an engine at a scrap dealers? Don't want to lug it all the way up there for a fiver

Not sure how much. ide make a guess at 50 but wouldnt have a clue.
however what else are you going to do with it. might aswell take it up. anything you get is a bonus.

steel/cast iron is about £100 per ton. engine block prob worth about £7.50

really is it that little?! my mate got about £40 for a seised corsa engine the other week :s either hes telling porkies or mr scrap man was feeling very generous
