personally ide download ps, or if you cant afford it/find a naughty copy off the internet to download then gimp is free and is pretty much photoshop just in a different layout  :smiley:

if you are using text for a water mark, and want it to look a little more 'up to date', then i would go for a san serif typeface, if you want some inspiration just google 'swiss typography  :wink:

Frankly I wouldn't bother with a logo/watermark unless you are worried about people stealing your photos for commercial purposes.
I don't bother with one at the moment, although I may consider one in the near future but I've disabled the download option on my flickr photos so that they can't easily be stolen.

Obviously you can screenprint, but you'd never get a full resolution photo that way, and that's what someone would need if they were going to make money off your photos.
