HELP! Spacers advice

I know I'm a pain in the arse, as ive already asked for advice on the spacers matter, but i dont want to buy the wrong ones cus they are expensive and the missus isn't too pleased im buying 1 set, let alone having to pay for 2 if i get it wrong, so ive only got 1 stab at it

Screech16v has helped with this and he is running the same setup as me but with 25mm spacers on the back and no issues.

on measuring it for the wheels to be flush i need 45mm on the back and 35mm on the front , is this realistic?

ive got the mk4 bora BBSRX2's so 6.5inch wide not the 7 inch anni ones so don't know what the offset is, im running 205,45/16 falken tyres. Pic below shows how it looks currently (pants) and how much its been lowered???

I'm assuming the OP means 22mm and 12mm each side?

If that's the case I'd stick 20mm rears and 15mm front and you should be fine, your not mega low. You'll have to check the offset of the wheels first though, that could make or break it

leroy i think i have give you some wrong advice mate  :embarassed:,i said mine just about caught the plastic arch with peeps in the back,well i had a very heavy passenger in the back and got some moderate contact with the tyre and  on closer inspection the tyres are touching the actual metal and im going to have to roll them,i also run 195,s so dont go for 25,s (total 50mm)  like me especially if your running 205,s unless your prepared to roll

I can run the 7" wide RX2s, with 215 wide tyres and 10mm spacers at the rear, with no problems.
7" wide offset is 43, 6.5" wide offset is 42...so as near as dammit the same.
You should be OK at 15mm...but as has been said, you may find 20mm spacers at the rear touch the 205 tyres.

On the front, 10, 13 or even 15mm, depending on camber.

I ran 24mm (12 a side) spacers and it touched the rear arches (only square walled 195's sorted that!)

Spacers are a right headache, 10-15mm isn't going to get the wheels flush, how do people manage with 9inch wide Porsche alloys? They manage to get that flush look? Have they smashed their arches to bits to get it?

Yes they have, yours will look better with 10mm (each side) on the rear.
