Hi

Have been to euro car parts twice the past week and will have to go again tomorrow. The problem is I've bought 2 catalytic converters now and my mate who's a mechanic says they aren't the right one?

This is the first one I got..

http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_1.4_2000/p/car-parts/car-body-parts-and-car-exhaust/exhausts/catalytic-converter/?721446201&1&daf77c74e68759d13979469c1c9253ec5a25dee0&000059

Apparently not the right one, so I went back and they gave me this one..

And now that isn't the right one?

I'm going to another mechanic tomorrow to get a second opinion unless anyone knows which actual cat I need for my car?

It's a MK4 V Reg (Late 99) 1.4 S.

If anyone has any idea I would be grateful.

Aaron   :)

could you not just ask your mate what one you need?

I took the first one back cause he said I needed one with the downpipe and now its apparently wrong again.

Tbh he's only young on an apprenticeship so that's why I'm trying to see if anyone knows the correct one for my vehicle, otherwise I'll go to another garage tomorrow.
