sorry quick oil question

hi guys i need some oil for my car and ive seen in the service section it takes 5w30 now i typed in my reg on euro car parts and it also states 5w40, now i have 5 litres of this in my shed was going to do oil change on our other car but it was stolen so cant do that anymore just wondered on thoughts of using this, any help apreciated guys and car is sitting on 132,000 miles if this makes a difference.

Go to VW/TPS and get Quantum Platinum, it's around £25 for 5l.

cheers guys for quick response you all come up trumps on here love it, the oil i bought for my other car is a pd engine so all good i will use that then save wasting it, now to buy new oil filter and a sump plug and a dry day needed i think not looking good this week though.
