Technology wise, what's the best thing you've bought?  Perhaps something you got that you never thought you'd end up using as much as you do.  Likewise, what's the thing you've bought that was the biggest waste of money in the end?

Just technology?? iPhone is pretty sweet, but that's an obvious one as I knew I would use it all the time.


The biggest waste of money was the Nintendo Wii for her indoors. I've used it 3 times and that's more than she has.

Best? Xbox & Kinect, it's my multimedia centre now and streams all my movies from PC's and Laptop - it now has BBC iPlayer which works brilliantly with the Kinect.

iv had it a month and used the computer once!

iv used my x box about 3 times! wasted 18 months worth of x box live also!

Best would be my Samsung LED tv and worst as others have said would be the Nintendo Wii.

2 of my Best :
Humax Freeview Recorder. So useful being able to record and pause TV and no subscription fees.
Digital SLR - I would carry it everywhere if I could.

My wife would say her iPad 2 and Kindle.

Worst : Hard to say really, bought a few dogy phones in the past.
