Hi all,

I have a MK4 2.0 GTI....51 plate!!
I have heard there is a way to up the BHP from the 115 that i already have??
How would i go about this..and roughly what would it cost??

i did wanted a supercharger for mine, but for £1700 i can only dream

when you take everything into consideration... cost of the modifications, then your insurance premium increase due to the mods etc... it'd be way cheaper and more reliable just to sell your car and buy a 1.8T golf .. and then if thats still not enough power for you, get it remapped.

yeah i was looking at a 1.8t engine Topher, wanted £1500 for it  but being second hand you never know if its knackered or things are wrong with it, sometimes i think better the devil you know, then sometimes not lol

nah just sell the whole car, you'd be surprised how cheap you can pick up a '99 turbo these days.. thats why i dont want to sell mine until i've driven it into the ground.. they're going dirt cheap, i'd lose a heap of money .. blame vw's mk5 GTI release for that

I have thought about it, but i still havent paid the loan off for my car yet so... hmm... my plan was to keep my car for another year, by then the loan would be paid off,  pass my driving instructors exams, earn lots of money and go buy a R32  sersously

now what you really want is a nice rallye to play in , then get a tdi mk4 anniversary to teach the youngsters to drive in

lol, yeah but i'll probably be given one of those corsa's *sigh* anyway i really want a R32, i wanna test drive one now, but i know there'll only see me wasting there time as i cant buy it now
