Knocking noise from Clutch/gear box area

Got a knocking sound near the front left wheel.

Cars had a remap and put a brand new clutch and flywheel in last year only done 3000 miles since, RAC man reckons its the thrust bearing or centre plate springs..could this happen to a new clutch?
