Sorry Mk1 Golf but your too old and sorry Mk 3 and Mk4 GTI's your not proper GTI's (to slow)
My vote probably mk3 vr6 even though i got a 91 8v

MK2 8v is still quick compared to mk3 and mk4 so you gotta count it in.
8v, 0-60 is still about 8-9 secs so its still sporty

Having driven an R32 recently I'd have to agree with Modulater, interesting to see that it didn't really have an impact in the VW cup this year though... MKI showed it the way.
Apart from that 8V MKII all the way.

well at this moment in time i would say the m2 16 valve cos mine is driving me nuts- i can not wait to get my vr6 back- some ididot pulled out in front of it- not very nice of him- adn wellu can guess the rest.
