Projekt A32

Hi people im new to this forum...
i started my mk2 project when i was 16 now im 18 and the car has come a long long way.
its been through many different stages and im now happy with where i have it at the moment
the car started life as a matte black 1.3 dropped on black borbet As. back then i thought it was low lol :embarassed:
I liked the look of the jetta front and got two jetta fronts for £30 so snapped it up..
i bought the car in may after 2 months of owning it the matte finish just started to annoy me so booked it in for a respray at my uncles garage in leicester
whilst stripping the car we found this
the previous owner had used loads of filler to hold the arches on and cut of the metal arches to fit the 9s out back....
so then i done this
so now the arches got welded on we decided on the colour which will, be revealed later.
the car was in the garage for 6 months and this is where the life of this mk2 changed .
we wanted the arches to be wide and accomodate the 9j without plastic arch kit so we did this, we also wanted the arch to look more modern
from this
to
also done this
to do this
and done this
to make it look like this
smoothed front indicators
car then got black primer
Flatted that down and gave it some grey primer
then got that flatted and gave it some Colour
the car got put back together and this is what it looked like the finished article :p
Then i got rid of borbets and put these on
ohhhh yeahhhh
but then got carried away and bought these
on the car looked like this
then found this in golf +
was well chuffed
out with the jetta in with the roundys
sold the porsches and my bro gave me these
which where on his polow but then we broke it for parts so i got to keep the wheels
However more recently i have done this
and got these beauties from a member of the forum ;P
testfit
some with my mates mk1 1.8t jetta
thats all for now will update on tuesday when car will be back on the road :p
thanks hope u enjoyed the read
