I know you get drops to numbs your eyes so you don't feel pain, but going by this video it looks cringy as hell, and the thought of not blinking for that length of time makes my eyes water!

Yep, that's basically it now I think back to how I felt when it was happening.

Not blinking is the last of your worries with these operations  :lipsrsealed:

Hope the recovery goes well Evoss.. How is your night vision? Any streaking or starbursts?

At the moment I get starbursts and some haze from lights, but expected during the healing process.

Healing is based on myself as a person, but should be a few weeks to fully heal.
I could drive the day after/go to uni (If we were at uni atm).

Due to the operation my eyes are slightly hazy, this is due to;
  • Swollen eyes
  • Liquid under the created flap
  • Cones in the back of the eye need to realign
  • Brain needs to come to terms that I have had laser shot in my eyes and sees the world differently.

This should take a few weeks for all this to be corrected, then it should be perfect :)

Few weeks to heal, wud have thort more like a few months but all sounds good mate....hope everything stays on track with the healing process!
