hey guys,

ive still got a TT dash conversion with mk3 kufatec loom (£450), audi flat bottom steering wheel (£250) and some 17x8" RH zw1 splits for sale (£650). All in the for sale sections.

The reason for this post is that I'm after a R32 lump so if you have 1 and fancy the above as a swap let me know :)

Also after a little R32 conversion searching I've found out that you can:

-use a vr6 box for the conversion,
-it sits direct on mk3 mounts,
-dubpower do a manifold so you can use the vr exhaust system
-and I believe with a immobiliser defeat you can wire in the R32 ecu n loom into the vr loom n clocks.

Is what I've found out correct and if you have some more info I'd love to here from ya.

Thanks

Nathan

Wanted to r32 mine and found out its easier than a 20vt swap. But I'm after the mk4 2.8 as you can buy the car for £1500.

It's as simple as you've said.

Glad to here it.

Yeah cost is the downside to it. I've got a vr lump ready to go in but 237bhp is alot better starting place than 174bhp. 63bhp will be hard to find in a vr unless I go turbo, supercharged or ITB and all will cost ££££s. exhaust, filter and map should see a R32 up a few bhp more

PM me your email address, as I've got some info on my computer from quite a few different forums regarding an R32 into a Corrado VR6. Its essentially the same as a Golf, and has part numbers of various things required you could sift through and decide what you need.
Classic Green Corrado VR6 Storm | Jetex Cat back | BMC CDA | VT mounts | Bilstein B12 | 288mm front brakes | Mk4 rear brakes | Goodridge braided hoses | BBS RX228s | Shortshifter | Lupo wipers | Uprated headlight loom | All red rears | Refreshed leather | Fresh paint |

Very similar weight to the VR6. No suspension or running gear changes required.
