With going by the mk2 this build is going to be awesome
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

All though I would love US Tailgate and Bumpers, This first incarnation of my new MK3 will be very much OEM+. My Early Vento Front end might not even go on this one as its so mint I don't even want to break the paint around the hinge bolts lol!

On my current list is just the US Splitter, Black Grab Handles, MK3.5 Visors with vanity lights, Corrado Interior light box and the VR ABC trims. I would also like to have the headlining retrimmed, but in a light weight leather or something :)

But that's enough about me, it's your thread ;)

Plans sound spot on dan and don't blame you for not wanting to change the front end. I used to hate the golf front but the more nice examples I see the more I come round to thinking maybe I should go that way.

Oh n there's a U.S splitter on German eBay!!

PM me the link!

I do love my Vento front end, It took me about four years to find a decent early grill lol! It will be going on eventually, but I will be keeping both so I can swap between the two :)

It has got to be time for an update from you soon hasn't it? I feel we all need to see some more pics!
