Already got a compressor and a vast array of air tools (drills, spray guns, sanders, air ratchets etc.) Just bought a replacement inflatascope for pumping up the tyres as my old one has had it, a paraffin gun and a touch up air brush. Recently bought the sandblaster (great bit of kit). Previous order to that was a bearing puller set, and a couple of tools that allow you to do the valve guide oil seals without removing the head.
Sounds like my jack is similar to your Len, you have to be really careful when dropping it down as it can go suddenly if you're not used to it.
